Approval Needed was made in an effort to spread kindness and empathy, even for traffic wardens, and so it was really delightful to find a new audience a the Women X Film Festival in Darlington, in Yorkshire. Not only that, but Arinder Sadhra was nominated for best leading performance.
The festival was brilliant – brimming with great films, fantastic female filmmakers, lots of cocktails, industry events, a film quiz night and a great party on the final night. Really can’t recommend this festival enough and I was so proud to be there, Kx
