Just a week since receiving a wonderful reception at our private screening/launch event, the Approval Needed team have another reason to be excited and celebrating.
We’re really pleased to announce that Approval Needed is joining the Festival Formula slate.
Founded and run by Katie McCullough, Festival Formula is a consultancy specialising in creating bespoke festival submission strategies for independently made films.
Festival Formula doesn’t take just any film on board, so we feel very proud and honoured to have made the grade, and to be amongst some truly exceptional films on the Festival Formula slate. To have Katie and her team on our side, ready to help Approval Needed make its mark on the festival circuit, is a fantastic asset.
With over thirteen years experience in the festival scene, Katie and her team are highly respected in the industry and know better than most which films will suit which festivals and can use their expertise to help a project find and build its audience, thereby enhancing both the film and the filmmaker’s public and industry profiles.
To quote Katie, Approval Needed is “A whimsical, funny short with a great female performance, and heart warming too…”
So, with the help of Festival Formula, it surely can’t be long before this film is giving audiences, the world over, reason to smile.
And, of course, that journey starts very soon at the HERE festival, where Approval Needed will screen on 28th April, alongside four other films commissioned by Talkies Community Cinema, in association with Short Sighted Cinema.
